Read on for more details! Dual Belt Drive The drivetrain of the Sprint 2 features dual drive belts and rubber-shielded ball bearings for the ultimate in durability and efficiency. From the mid-mounted motor and spur gear, the layshaft and center pulleys gets the power to gear diffs front and rear through sturdy drive belts which are made from urethane for extreme durability and wear resistance. Fully Independent Suspension The suspension built into the Sprint 2 allows for complete flexibility and easy, neutral driving characteristics through the use of four-wheel independent suspension with dual-wishbone design, just like modern full-size supercars. Strong Aluminum Alloy Chassis Formed from 6061 aluminum for a combination of strength and light weight, the Bullet Flux chassis is durable and looks great! Thick sheet aluminum is stamped into shape to form the ideal backbone for all the various components that make the Bullet trucks so tough! The front kick-up provides extra control at all speeds, essential for a go-anywhere, do-anything vehicle like the Bullet. The sides are also bent upwards to give extra ground clearance in tight turns, but also vastly increased longitudinal stiffness - perfect for all your off-road adventures! Compact & Balanced Layout The Bullet Flux is packed with features, with every component placed exactly where it needs to be to have the perfect weight distribution front to rear and side to side. The steering servo is placed in a "laydown" configuration for a low center of gravity, and the weight of the motor and battery balance each other on either side of the chassis. The speed controller is placed in the back of the chassis, along the centerline, where it can get the most cooling air as well as protection from mud and dirt that gets kicked up by the front tires. Tough 4WD Shaft Drivetrain The drivetrain used in all Bullet trucks is a full-time four-wheel drive shaft-type drivetrain, just like the one used in 1/8th scale buggies like the World Champion HB D815 buggy. A shaft drivetrain is the best option for a kit that's expected to encounter every possible driving condition and track surface, so whether you're blasting through mud, water, dirt, grass, snow or gravel, it's the ideal type of drivetrain for your off-road adventures! Durable Protected Drivetrain A strong plastic 54-tooth spur gear takes the power from the engine and transmits it front and rear through an adjustable dual pad slipper clutch. The center dogbones drive the front and rear bevel differentials, which use 4 internal gears for increased durability and lifetime over weaker 2-gear diffs. Braking power is provided by the HPI Flux brushless motor, giving just as much stopping strength as the steel disc brake supplied on nitro versions of the Bullet! Steel Dogbones Extra-tough hardware is a major feature of the Bullet trucks, and it's no different when you look at the driveshafts. Super strong coated steel dogbones transfer the power from the front and rear differentials into the wheels. On each axle is a standard-size 14mm hex adapters using nylon, and a sturdy steel locknut holds the wheels on place on each axle. Efficient Ball Bearings For extra efficiency, all the components of the drivetrain, from the spur gear to the wheel axles, spin on long-life, rubber-sealed ball bearings. With these bearings you get long runtimes and long engine life while the rubber seals keep out dust and grime! Rugged Long Suspension Arms Extra-long suspension arms provide stability, and thick suspension pins give you extra insurance against crash damage. The suspension arms feature a solid construction for extra-tough construction and extreme durability. Multiple shock mounting locations let you fine-tune the handling for whatever you plan to be doing. Go ahead and try it - even though it's perfectly set at the factory for neutral handling, we don't mind if you try something new! Double Shocks at Each Corner 8 extra-long shock absorbers control the damping on the Bullet ST Flux, and are precisely filled with oil for exceptional handling in turns and cushioning when landing big jumps. With big coil-over springs they are the perfect match to the long suspension arms! The shocks are customizable with HPI oils and springs, as well as different shock mount locations. Flexible Plastic Parts Tough nylon suspension parts include the hubs, steering knuckles, and rear uprights, which are designed to endure any sort of punishment. The front hubs have an oversized rock guard to keep pebbles and stones away from the dogbone/axle joint. Optional shock mounting points are provided on the suspension arms for lowering the stance of the truck slightly (great for running on-road) and stiffening up the suspension at the same time, without using option parts. Powerful Waterproof Steering Servo The waterproof HPI SF-10W steering servo is powerful and reliable, and is more than strong enough to steer the front wheels when the truck is stopped, and can take the hits of jumps and crashes thanks to a strong spring-loaded servo saver. Adjustable Steel Turnbuckles Strong steel turnbuckles link connects the servo to the steering hubs through a reliable bellcrank steering system. The turnbuckles are light yet strong, and allow you to tune the Bullet with different toe settings. For advanced tuning, turnbuckle links let you make quick adjustments, and even the steering links use turnbuckles so you can change the front toe setting if you wanted. Rugged All-Terrain Tires The extra cool-looking all-terrain tires will provide an amazing amount of grip on loose or hard-packed dirt, grass, mud and more, and even when the tall points are worn down the dash-pattern tread will still give you fantastic traction for a very long time. The fully contained drivetrain means there are no exposed gears, belts or drivetrain parts to get stuck with rocks or dirt. Finally, the RS4 Sport 3 is finished with realistic tires plus a licensed replica body and wheels for an authentic look that will grab the attention of all RC and motorsport enthusiasts! The first RS4 Sport 3 Drift features the HPI Racing x FATLACE liveried Subaru BRZ, a super-popular sports car and phenomenal drift machine. One-Piece Molded Chassis The main chassis is formed from a single piece of reinforced plastic and features the drivetrain tunnel molded right down the middle, just like a real car. Low Profile Layout Design One of the ways we gave the RS4 Sport 3 the best possible handling was to make sure all the components fit as low as possible in the chassis. This gives the car an amazingly low center of gravity for enhanced cornering capabilities. 2S LiPo Capable The RS4 Sport 3 features a versatile electronic speed controller that can be used with modern lithium-polymer (LiPo) or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries. Please note a LiPo adapter plug is not included, your model shop will be able to provide one. Fits a Wide Variety of Batteries The RS4 Sport 3 chassis can fit lithium-polymer and nickel-cadmium packs of various sizes, including the extra-long 7-cell Ni-MH packs. Whatever your power requirements, it can hold it all! A thick hook-and-loop strap holds the pack securely in place, and a simple battery block screws into place to allow you to adjust the weight distribution forward or backward for extra steering or acceleration. Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive The RS4 Sport 3 features full-time four-wheel drive to give you the most control and precision on the road or track. All four wheels are driven by heavy duty gear differentials at the front and rear, just like a real car. The extra traction gives you increased acceleration and cornering control for maximum confidence and fun. Sealed Shaft Drivetrain The drivetrain of all the RS4 Sport 3 models features the motor mounted longitudinally in the molded chassis, next to the long driveshaft that goes down the center of the car. The entire drivetrain, including the central driveshaft and gear diffs, is completely sealed to prevent dirt, rocks and debris from damaging or binding the drivetrain. The driveshaft, diffs and axles spin on ball bearings to maximize drivetrain efficiency. Bottom-Access Driveshaft The central driveshaft that connects the front and rear differentials is easily accessed from underneath the chassis. This allows the drivetrain to be completely sealed to protect it from rocks and debris no matter where you may want to drive your car. Easy Access Differentials Getting to the differentials for quick adjustments is a matter of removing just 4 screws - this allows you to pop out the diff and change the grease, check the gears or just give it a general service. 4-Gear Metal Diffs Bevel gear differentials at each end of the car transfer power from the driveshaft to the dogbones and axles that drive each wheel. The all-metal construction allows the drivetrain to withstand powerful brushless motors for easy upgrading in the future. Rubber-sealed ball bearings support the differentials and each diff can be tuned independently by changing the diff grease. Double-Wishbone Fully Adjustable Suspension The suspension of the RS4 Sport 3 uses the race-proven double-wishbone suspension design, similar to a full scale modern race car. You'll be able to control the anti-squat and anti-dive of the front and rear arms using the standard pivot blocks, and the option parts allow you to adjust the sweep and toe angles. You'll also be able to easily change the roll center front and rear with the racing-style vertical ballstud mounting on both the inner and outer camber link mounts. Multiple shock mounting positions provide a full range of shock suspension angle adjustment to suit different road conditions. Multiple Shock Positions Oil-Filled Threaded Shocks The RS4 Sport 3 is fitted with a set composite coilover-style oil-filled shocks, just like what you'd see on a real race car. The fully adjustable shocks are fully tunable to provide the optimum chassis performance on a wide variety of road surfaces. The ride height is quickly adjustable by using the threaded shock collars. Further tuning adjustments are also possible by changing the springs and shock oil weight. Tough Front End Suspension The RS4 Sport front end uses the strong C-hub style suspension seen on the latest RC touring cars, with a vertical ball stud camber mount that lets you change the front end roll center - which is a critical racing adjustment that allows the RS4 Sport 3 to be a step above other sport-level RC touring cars. The suspension arm also features multiple shock mounting holes for easy shock angle adjustment. Tunable Rear Suspension The rear hub is fitted with a vertical ball stud style adjustment that allows easy adjustment of the rear roll center. Moving the ball stud up or down with the optional spacers changes the traction characteristics of the rear end as the car goes through the turns. The suspension arm also features 3 different shock mounting holes for easy shock angle adjustment. Double Bellcrank Steering The performance tested adjustable double bell crank system provides optimum steering precision at all speeds. A metal drag link plate connects the cranks for extra durability, the additional drag link mounting positions also allows for Ackermann angle adjustments. Rugged Spring-Loaded Servo Saver Fitted to the HPI SF10W waterproof servo is an adjustable multipiece servo saver, which protects the servo from crash damage. In the event of a crash or collision, the front wheels usually take a big portion of the blow and transmits the impact directly to the steering servo. The strong spring-loaded cam action of the servo saver is designed to absorb this force and protect the servo internals from the impact! Aluminum Motor Mount The cast aluminum cam-style motor mount holds the motor in place for a secure pinion/spur connection. Two screws hold the cam firmly in position on the mount, and cooling fins on the lateral support aid heat dissipation to keep the motor running as efficiently as possible. Rear End Chassis Diffuser The built in rear end chassis diffuser element smooths out the air flow underneath the chassis for maximum aero efficiency. Rubber-Sealed Ball Bearings The RS4 Sport 3 is fully fitted with a set of rubber-sealed ball bearings for maximum efficiency. The rubber seals keeps the dust away from the internals while the smooth precision bearings provides for optimum power delivery from the power source out into the driveline. Rugged Front Bumper To protect the front suspension, chassis and body from impacts big and small, an extra thick foam bumper is securely fastened to the front of the RS4 Sport 3. You'll also be able to easily change the roll center front and rear with the racing-style vertical ballstud mounting on both the inner and outer camber link mounts. Multiple Shock Positions Oil-Filled Threaded Shocks The RS4 Sport 3 is fitted with a set composite coilover-style oil-filled shocks, just like what you'd see on a real race car. The fully adjustable shocks are fully tunable to provide the optimum chassis performance on a wide variety of road surfaces. The ride height is quickly adjustable by using the threaded shock collars. Further tuning adjustments are also possible by changing the springs and shock oil weight.
