More Ackermann makes the car easier to drive, the less Ackermann, the more aggressive the car becomes. Ty Tessmann is 2013 ROAR Nationals Champion!
Ty Tessmann absolutely dominated the truggy portion of the ROAR Off-Road Nationals, completed last weekend, and walked away with a commanding win after lapping the field in the A Main! Ty also TQ'd the buggy race, but after starting off very strongly he had a problem that forced him to drop out of the lead of the race. Tessmann sweeps 1/10 Pre-Worlds with HB-HPI motors!
Ty Tessmann wins BOTH the 2WD and 4WD classes at the 1/10 Off-Road Pre-Worlds in California! Using HB-HPI Racing motors in both buggies, Ty was able to dominate both races, taking wins in the first 2 A Mains of 2WD and finishing a lap ahead of the field in 4WD! Graham Alsop wins the Paddy Piston Power race AGAIN!
Graham Alsop takes the win at the Paddy Piston Power race for the third time, beating out local favourites and other racers who'd traveled to Belfast for this popular annual race. The BADMCC team have done an amazing job of getting their track ready to host the event and deserve a massive pat on the pack for a job well done. The racers were blessed with plenty of track time with evening controled practice on friday in heat format and a couple rounds of practice on the saturday morning before heading into 7 rounds of qualifying with the best 4 from 7 to count towards your place on the grid for the finals now thats some seriouse track time. The HPI Challenge is BACK in the UK!
HPI kit owners in the UK, mark your calendars! The 4th of August and the 28th of September mark the return of the HPI Challenge, and we've got fantastic ON- & OFF-ROAD racing classes organized at two of the country's leading venues! - On-Road Racers - The 4th of August marks the return of the HPI Challenge for all on-road racers and HPI touring car kit owners! Four classes will be available to enter: HPI Open (17.5 blinky touring car), HPI Racer (HPI RTR cars, Saturn 20T with Fwd/Rev speed controllers), HPI Nitro (HPI RTR cars, HPI RTR engine) and Open class which is available to all electric touring car chassis. EVERY racer will get a complete set (2 pairs) of top-quality HPI Challenge racing slick tyres, an HPI T-shirt AND and HPI goodie bag with lots of HPI freebies inside. The host venue for this one-day race is the fabulous Cotswold Model Car Club in Gloucestershire! A regular BRCA track on the Nationals racing circuit and a very popular track with great accomodations, the Cotswolds track is the perfect place to mark the return of the HPI Challenge! Camping is available on-site, hotels are nearby, plus food and spare parts will be available trackside. We'll post the rules for each class very soon - tell your friends and start making plans! - Off-Road Racers - The 28th of September is the day for off-road HPI kit owners! Whether you've got a Savage monster truck, nitro buggy or electric truggy, we've got you all covered! We'll announce the full list of classes soon, for now just make your plans and get ready to race. Our off-road HPI Challenge will be at the wonderful Coventry Model Car Club, with its 3 separate racing areas! Also a very popular venue, Coventry is a regular on the BRCA National racing series as well as many regional race series. Food and spare parts will be available trackside. Just like previous HPI Challenge events, the focus is on having FUN and competing in an enjoyable and pleasant environment. Children, parents and pets are all welcome to soak in the atmosphere of racing amongst friends and fellow HPI kit owners, and we'll make sure to put on some interesting events - how do BBQs, fast lap challenges and free raffles sound to you?!

Hara and D812 win BittyDesign ASIA Contest
Atsushi Hara was crowned champion of the BittyDesign ASIA Contest, a massive international buggy race at the world-famous Pattaya race track! The 45-minute Final saw a couple of top contenders fall to the side through breakages, and in the second half of the race Hara stepped up the pace and motored away from the competition, lapping 3rd and 2nd place as they fought for the remaining podium spots. This was a great race to witness and proof that top-level races don't have to be dry affairs - as witnessed by the water guns provided to all the racers for a massive water fight after the trophy presentations! The top two places on the podium were taken with HB Racing Tyres - Hara used the awesome HB Gridlock design for his dominating performance!
